Innovating for Impact: Risk Management in the Age of Reuse and Regulation

In today’s rapidly shifting regulatory and environmental landscape, the integration of sustainability into the supply chain has become essential for long-term resilience and value creation. The 2025 edition of the rimap® Advanced Workshop will focus on the intersection of enterprise risk management (ERM), sustainability, innovation and circular economy principles, using the real-world case of Vytal — a reusable packaging start-up navigating regulatory pressure, scale-up challenges, and behavioural shifts.

Participants will work in teams to analyse the Vytal case study, culminating in group presentations to a simulated Board of Directors. Together, we’ll explore the practical and strategic implications of embedding sustainability, ERM and innovation into core business models, with a focus on risk communication, stakeholder engagement, and performance measurement as essential elements to support risk-based decision making.
